Spring is in the air and that means festival season in Louisiana is upon us! It is the time of year that brings beautiful blooms along the hiking trails, amazing sunsets over the bayous and lakes, and longer and sunshine filled days for families to enjoy everyday of the week. Along with of course, some of the best local festivals that celebrate Louisiana culture, music, food, heritage, and so much more. As they say, Louisiana has a festival for just about anything!
Spring officially arrives on March 20, 2025 and runs through June 20, 2025 in Louisiana, giving us THREE full months to enjoy all the local festivals and family fun events in New Iberia, Abbeville, Breaux Bridge, and Morgan City.
For locals, it means practically every weekend will offer a pick of family fun events offering delicious food, craft markets, live music and dancing. It's also the time of year we have thousands of tourists visit the state of Louisiana to consume as much of our culture that they can in one weekend.
We are adding events and information on local festivals to our calendar daily during spring, so why not have it all in one, easy to read place? The festival runs from Friday, April 11, 2025 through Sunday, April 13, 2025 in downtown New Iberia.
Celebrate the year of the snake at the annual three day festival on the grounds Lanexang Village takes place Easter weekend from Friday, April 18. 2025 to Sunday. April 20, 2025.

The festival begins on Friday, April 11, 2025 and runs through Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Memorial Park and throughout downtown Ponchatoula.
🌸Festival International - Downtown Lafayette 🌸
This five day celebration is filled with events for everyone in the family. This year's festival will start on Wednesday April 23, 2025 and run through Sunday, April 27 in downtown Lafayette.
🌸New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival - New Orleans🌸
The festival runs over the last week of April and the first week of May every year. The first weekend the 2024 festival starts Thursday, April 25, 2024 and runs through Sunday April 28. The second weekend starts Thursday, May 2, 2024 and runs through Sunday, May 5, 2024.
