1. Krewe of Adonis Mardi Gras Parade - Morgan City

Kick off the Mardi Gras weekend in Morgan City at the Krewe of Adonis parade. The parade will begin on 2nd Street under the La 182 bridge and head to Onstead Street, continuing on the traditional route. 2. Annual Krewe of Palmetto Mardi Gras in the Park Golf Cart Parade - Abbeville

Spend the day with the Krewe of Palmetto at Palmetto Island State Park in Abbeville! The day will be filled with several events for families to enjoy a fun, family-friendly experience. From a rock hunt for prizes, to the annual golf cart parade, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Regular park admission fees apply.
3. Grand Marais Mardi Gras Parade - Jeanerette

Celebrate Mardi Gras season with this hometown parade and festival in Jeanerette. The Grand Marais Mardi Gras Parade will have floats, dance teams, royalty presentations, costume contests, music, dancing, and of course plenty of throws! Roads close at 11:00 am.
4. Courir des Enfants - Children’s Mardi Gras Run - Breaux Bridge

Celebrate Lundi Gras with the kids at the Courir des Enfants - Children’s Mardi Gras Run in Breaux Bridge with the Teche Center for the Arts. This event is for families to enjoy a traditional Cajun Mardi Gras experience. Participants meet at the front of St. Bernard Catholic Church at 204 North Main Street in Breaux Bridge. Parent or Guardian must accompany children to attend this event.
5. Franklin Mardi Gras Parade - Downtown Franklin

1:00 pm
Celebrate Fat Tuesday in Franklin! The parade will begin at Franklin Senior High School on Main Street and proceed east on Main Street, continuing along the traditional route. For more information on the parade route, click here for a downloadable PDF with traditional routes.
